  Sunday Drop In Tennis

Firstly, many thanks to Marc Parham for coordinating things these member only events

  • Sunday morning from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
  • Courts 3 and 4 are reserved and are to be used for Drop-In Tennis.

A Drop-in group is defined as 2 or more players. Sequence of play is rotational. Groups often consist of five or even six players. In these cases, at the end of each game, a new (waiting) player rotates into the server's ad court, the previous server goes out, and the remaining two players rotate clockwise for the upcoming game.  To facilitate rotation, games are always played no-ad when people are waiting.

If you want weekly reminders for this event, please ask Marc to subscribe for you. He will also unsubscribe you if you wish.

You can find his details on the phone app or thru the web site members directory

New members can learn the ins and outs of our club programs, discover drop-in groups and clinics, and see firsthand just how friendly, helpful, and social our tennis community really is.

Have some fun at the Wild Card Tournament!

This tournament is unique in that participants are only required to be Rossmoor residents; they are not required to be members of RTC.

Format This fun format has up to 12 men and 12 women who play 4 rounds of mixed doubles and 3 rounds of same gender doubles.  Each round is 4 games with players, so everyone gets to serve.  Partners and opponents rotate in every round so there is a constantly changing mix of players.

Organizer: Richard Schulman (with help from others)
