RTC Board Meeting August 15, 2016
Meeting Agenda:

Opening Remarks - Randy Kuhl

• Minutes of previous meeting were approval
• Board job descriptions.  Board members have been submitting proposed wording regarding their duties to Randy
• Nominating committee has been proposed and approved.   Committee members are: Dick Normington, Barbara Blum, Paul Holland, Joyce Niebur, and Jan Perez.
• Work continues on RTC By-Laws revisions.

RTC Information Technology Committee - Randy Kuhl

• History and photos being updated by Randy and Mark

Court Engineer / Supplies - Rolf Kvalvik

• Six all-weather clocks will be purchased and installed
• Additional brooms will be purchased
• Several members have noted cracking on the courts.   GRF has inspected them and plans to not repair them unless and until the cracks present a hazard by allowing concrete to be at two different levels on either side of the cracks.

Tournaments - Bernie Wolf

• Women's Doubles has been moved to October.   Date to be determined.
• Trilogy Aug 20 still needs women players
• Rossmoor Games September 03
• Men's Doubles September 17
• Mixed Doubles September 24

Wild Card - Barbara Phillips

• September 3rd --- Rossmoor Games

Secretary - Les Hoskyns

• No report

Treasurer - Barbara Schwartz

• Ball machine fees discussed.  Annual fee is $35.00 and drops to $15.00 as of September 01.

Vice President/Trophies - Ron Wyman

• New Playmate ball machine has been purchased.   A demonstration / show-and-tell will be provided by dealer's representative at 1:00 PM on Saturday August 27.   All RTC members are invited to attend.

Publicity - Ron Wyman

• Rossmoor News submissions are going well

Social - Loc Barnes

• Sneakers and Spikes September 3, 2016
• 2016 Holiday Party (date to be determined) was discussed.   Dave and Judy Corliss will host.   Event will be catered by Rossmoor's Creekside Restaurant.

Membership - Larry Fredricks

• Membership count is 242 with 36 ball-machine subscriptions
• Larry will begin work on the 2017 RTC Membership Directory
