- Ad Hoc meeting to discuss the following issues:
- Dave Hickey organized a New member ZOOM social: scheduled for October 10 @4:00pm for 80 minutes. Board members will be introduced by President. Then present their duties and take questions for 2 minutes to approximately 14 new members. Terry Q. will send email invites to new members
- Discussed benefits of opening Zoom Account for November General Meeting. Cost $200. Tabled
- Discussed whether General Meeting must be open to all members in accordance with bi-laws via Zoom or conduct vote via email due to virus impact of restrictions
- Discussed use of ball machine by Eugene Ovalle during lessons. Due to unfair issues to other instructors and ball machine users, board is not in favor at this time.
- Since doubles tennis is still not permitted by county, Dave B and Larry B will write letter to GRF and county asking for review of restrictions
- Discussed benches at courts continually being turned over against rules of safety
- Dave B and Larry B will meet next week with Pickleball president and VP to discuss future court issues
