- The October Party for new members could include people who joined in the last 2 years.
- The July 6th BBQ will be with hot dogs and beer

- New Members Tournament for June 22 cancelled since only 6 people had signed up
Facilities - David Hickey
- Should the club purchase sun shades for court 6 and 7?
- David took photos showing the courts were in the shade until 10 am
- The sunshades on courts 1, 3, and 5 cost about $800. each and were purchased by GRF but paid for by a private donor. We might mention that at the General Meeting and see if anyone else might like to be a donor.
- The ball machine lock number has apparently been posted and shared so it will need to be changed.
- Players this month 1,480
- We discussed purchasing new balls for the ball machine which would cost about $300.
- The Board decided not to buy new balls but to discard worn out balls.
- An e mail will be sent out to new members and people who have paid to use the Ball Machine that they need to come for instruction.
- Request for a cutting board, Spray cleaner and handy wipes to clean picnic tablecloths
- Mary offered to buy those items at Cosco

Correct procedure for creating new communications on WA website

Go to Communication--email, select a template (Announcement) this makes a copy of the template-incorporate copy in new e mail.

We need to create a tech committee to help with website issues and alleviate Chris Slee from dealing with all the problems
Old Business
- RAC Club Fair review--We decided that it is not worth having a table in the future
- Courts 1-6 are scheduled to be resurfaced the week of July 15th
- We will invite Ann Mottola to our General Meeting on July 15th and talk about courts 7 and 8 and the importance of getting those courts fixed up and included in the Budget for 2025
- it had been suggested at a previous Board Meeting that we get a pro to teach at Buckeye but the Board decided against at the April meeting due to logistical issues, potential GRF insurance and liability issues. If people want lessons they need to make their own arrangements
New Business
There was discussion about non residents playing on the courts in prime time. It was decided That Emily would send a gentle e mail to the people involved asking them to please not play on Mondays until after 11 am.
- Upcoming July General Meeting agenda --announce that there will be 3 Board positions open next year--secretary, treasurer, and membership and speak to a Board Member if you might be interested (Al Peters will be heading the Nominating Committee)
- Holiday Party discussion Laura said she will head the committee but she will need many volunteers
