  • Conducted two training sessions on the new web stie. One focusing on Events including board meetings and other events such as Wild Cards, Team events and Socials. Second training focused on Publicity and writing news articles, including posting images.

  • Updating of social events/tournament calendar on website

  • Idea: having a "bring our phone, iPad, Laptop" to help get set up. Perhaps 2x per week for 2 weeks at the Redwood room?

  • Perhaps David Blanchard and Richard Schulman could help with the training

Old Business

  • The management of the Friday Ball Machine clinics going forward were discussed- RTC members have expressed interest in having clinics continue with leaders. David Hickey volunteered to do some Fridays from 10 - 11 AM if other people also help. David Hickey will see if he can recruit some volunteers to mange the clinics with him.
  • Mary Benin volunteered to manage the stocking of the  supply cabinets going forward
  • Shelves with things from Men's Group SMIL need to be labeled as such

New Business

  • GRF Planning Committee meetings on 2024 tennis court resurfacing project
  • Apparently all new projects have been deferred due to financial worries with insurance costs even though tennis court resurfacing had been approved and was in the capital budget
  • It is important that we write letters to GRB@rossmoor.com and speak up at Planning Committee Meetings of the GRF during the public forum about the need for resurfacing
  • Thursday, March 11th at 10:30 AM in Gateway is the next meeting
  • Notifications of court reservations for the men's and the two women's teams matches
