Wild Card Championship

On the first Saturday in November, a tournament is held to decide who are the champions of Wild Card. This event is by invitation only, and it is reserved for those who have either come in first, second or third in the previous Wild Cards that year.

The format of the tournament is exactly the same as the Wild Card Tournaments.   At the conclusion of the tournament, the men and women who come in first, second and third in their categories receive prizes and get their names engraved on the club awards board.

Eligible Players

• Invite all those who placed in a previous Wild Card, Mens or Womens Doubles and New Members Tournaments.

• Select first place finishers, add 2nd, then add 3rd place players until there are enough players.

• If more players are needed, select from the first team in the team tournaments [Memorial Day, Halloween]

• Often people are away so this may result in a tournament with 16, 20 or 24 players
