• cards have been sent to Paula Krauss, Linda Spiegelman, Christine and Larry Barclay
• June 2025 Board Meeting Minutes were approved

Treasurer - Bart Ostro

• Financial update --we have about $15,000 in the bank and we are keeping $8,000 in reserve to replace the ball machine when needed
• e-mail Bart invoices for any purchases

Tournaments - Richard Schulman

• Sign-up Sheet to be passed around for 8/2 Wild Card Tournament start time is 9 
• Sept. 6th--men's only ladder tournament
• Oct. 4th--wild card ladder format
• Nov. 1st --something different

Social - Laura Townsend

• We need grillers for 3 dates
• July 5th was very successful with about 70 people and 14 volunteers
• July 17th BBQ had about 25 people
• volunteers from Sustainable Rossmoor will help organize our trash after events
• Membership - Lori Davis

• We have 243 members -- 219 are active members and 11 are new members 
• A sub list has been created and is posted at the kiosk and on the website

Facilities - David Hickey

• Half of Tennis balls are made in China and half are made in Thailand
• If balls in recycle bins are not used in the ball machine they are taken to Sports Basement and used for playgrounds
• Court 7 has balls for practice serving
• First aide supplies were replaced and  also a cutting board, and pepper, and a propane tank were missing after the last BBQ 
• The propane tank needs to be replaced by RPM
• Also the water faucet needs to be checked

Publicity - Linda Hague

• Publicity Update

Information Technology  

• Discussion of new signage regarding court usage for every court
• Courts are owned by GRF and they need to put up signs about observing noise limits and restricting Pickleball on the Tennis courts
• We could take down some old signs
• There are three RTC Board positions with vacancies commencing in January 2026: Vice- President, Publicity Chair, and Social Chair. A Nominating Committee, headed by Al Peters will be formed to find members who are interested in volunteering for any 2026 Board position and the nominations will occur in November at the next General Meeting. If any member is interested in being on the Nominating Committee, or is interested in a 2026 Board position, then please let Emily VanVleet and/or Mary Benin know.  
• An e- mail should be sent to all members about the open positions

Open Forum- for Questions/Concerns by Members

• It was suggested that we spend more money on better tennis balls
• Penn balls are fine as single use balls for tournaments
• The water is luke warm at the fountain
