RTC Board Meeting   December 19, 2016
Meeting Minutes:

President - Randy Kuhl

• Randy Kuhl called the meeting to order at 1:35 P.M. 
• Previous meeting's minutes were approved.
• Attending were: Randy Kuhl, Ron Wyman, Rolf Kvalvik, Bernie Wolf, Larry Fredricks, Barbara Schwartz, Bob McGowan, Carol Pillsbury and Joan Warner.   Absent were: Les Hoskyns, Barbara Phillips, and Loc Barnes.

Vice President - Ron Wyman

• Volunteers are needed for Ball Machine training.
• Ron Wyman reported that presently there are only two instructors for the ball machine:   Eugene Ovalle and Rich Racimora.
• Ron would like about four more volunteers for this task.

Secretary - Les Hoskyns

• No report

Treasurer - Barbara Schwartz

• Financial was report presented.   Some of the expenses for the Holiday Party have not yet been paid.

Tournaments - Bernie Wolf

• More volunteers are needed to run the Wild Card tournaments.
• There appears to be enough volunteers for the remainder of the year, January 2017, and February2017.
• Bob McGowan reported that Rob Ingalls has volunteered to chair the Trilogy Tournament.
• Bob agreed to take care of obtaining tennis balls for all tournaments.
• A volunteer is needed for Trilogy (here on May 13th, 2017).

Social - Loc Barnes

• Carol Pillsbury reported that only the Valentine’s Party and the Sneakers and Spikes Tournament were without chairpersons.

Membership - Larry Fredricks

• Larry reported that the membership renewals were at 150, down from last year’s number of 246.
• Larry will make phone calls to those who haven’t renewed their membership.
• The cutoff date was moved to January 15, 2017 for inclusion in the 2017 RTC Membership Directory.

Facilities - Rolf Kvalvik

• Rolf Kvalvik questioned the reason for keeping the sign-up sheets from the courts.
• It was determined that it’s very important in order to show GRF our usage.
• Pickleball using theirs to get things from GRF.   We will do the same.

Wild Card Committee - Barbara Phillips

• Becky Reiss will run the January Wild Card.

Publicity - Ron Wyman

•  No report

Information Technology - Randy Kuhl

• There was a misunderstanding at November meeting.
• Photos are not lost but the captions still need more work.

• The question came up about the board having more or fewer than three members leaving at one time.   Since Bob McGowan is serving a one year term, that is now corrected.   The ending years for terms are shown below:
