President - Ron Wyman

• Approval of July Minutes

Vice President - Bernie Wolf

• Running upcoming Wild Card Tournament / Rossmoor Games September 02, 2017

Secretary - Les Hoskyns

• Les encouraged board members to take advantage of the website's new features
• Les requested tournament and social event dates and venues for 2018 for inclusion on the website

Treasurer - Barbara Schwartz

• Account balances approved with caveat regarding expenses still pending submission and payment

Tournaments - Bob McGowan

• Calcutta event --- not a lot of signups coming in.   Discussed possible reasons.   May be cancelled.
• Trilogy tournament discussed
• The website will be updated next month with the 2018 tournaments schedule

Social - Carol Pillsbury

• Jimmy Buffet theme was a big success
• The board discussed what social events will be held later this year and in 2018
• Carol will arrange for dates and venues for approximately seven social events in 2018
• The website will be updated next month with the 2018 social events schedule

Membership - Larry Fredricks

• Larry’s membership report was presented

Facilities - Rolf Kvalvik

• Rolf discussed clocks and screens

Publicity - Joan Warner

• Joan's publicity report

Old Business

• Discussion of nominating committee's recruiting efforts
• Chris Slee has agreed to have his name submitted
• Eugenio Ovalle has agreed to have his name submitted
• A few others who have yet to agree were discussed

New Business

• Randy Kuhl to report on Nominating Committee search for 2018 board members
