Old Business

  • Hopefully Ann Mottola -will come to a future Board Meeting and  talk about   Resurfacing and 2025 project for Courts 7 and 8
  • It is important for many members of RTC to  attend GRF Meetings and speak up about the importance of fixing up courts 7 and 8 and getting the project included in  the 2025 budget.

New Business

  • Open Forum - Five minutes per member
  • There was a lot of discussion about the need for awnings on courts 4 and 6 and possibly court 2
  • Each awning costs about $800. and it is important to prevent heat exhaustion especially for the mens' team playing in the heat of the day
  • Should we purchase them or ask GRF? Last year we had an anonymous donor.
  • There was discussion about getting about 12 more chairs --brown ones are sturdier but hotter, cream colored chairs are less expensive and cooler.
  • Al Peters felt that chairs should not be left in the back of the courts where it might be shadier but present a tripping hazard.
  • Members of the Board will make some decisions on awnings and chairs.
  • Upcoming 2025 Board positions --Treasurer, Membership, and Secretary positions are open for next year. The nominating committee is made up of 4 non Board Members and past president, Al Peters. Let Emily or Al know if you are interested in a position or can suggest someone.
  • Raffle!
