• wonderful finances >$15,000 in operating fund
• discussed forming a 3 person committee to make suggestions of how to best use our funds for club improvements. motion approved to form committee. Decker will solicit members

Tournaments - Chris Slee

• absent. Carol reports Halloween Tournament has good sign up
• Orinda Woods Tournament tentatively set for Nov. 10

Social - Marian "Cinnamon" Renvall

• New member event was a huge success
• Dave Hickey in charge of xmas party

Membership - Terry Quinlan

• positive feedback from new members
• currently 212 members

Facilities - Bill Van Wagoner

• sent report of possible donation refrigerator amp (1.5amps)
• Carol will follow up with GRF

Publicity - Ken Steiner

• absent

Information Technology - Chris Slee

• no report

Old Business

•  Nominating committee presented 3 candidates: Dave Hickey, Rowena Slee, Larry Barclay
•  Nominations to be voted on at November general meeting. New board to be presented at meeting and mentioned at   holiday party
•  PIllsbury, Schwartz, Renvall terms expiring.
•  Service award recipients discussed and motion approved for acceptance. Blanchard will get plaque engraved
•  Presentation of award at November general meeting and again noted at holiday party 

 New business  

discussed possibly purchasing new battery powered leaf blower
