May WILD CARD LADDER FORMAT

This tournament is unique in that participants are only required to be Rossmoor residents; they are not required to be members of RTC. Also, Wild Card is played on the first Saturday of every month except November thru January, and then June.

Format

This fun format has up to 12 men and 12 women who play who are randomly paired up in the first round.  There are 4 games each round with each person serving once.  On the odd round number, the women serve first, and on the even round the men serve first.  In the case of a tie there is a one-point tie break with the person who served first serving.  Winners move to the next higher number court, and the losers move down one court and everyone switches partners.  Partners and opponents rotate in every round so there is a constantly changing mix of players.
