Tournaments - Chris Slee
- Thanks to Dave Blanchard for August Wild Card
- Scheduling September events (need volunteers to host mens, ladies, and wild card tournaments).
- Requesting Dave Blanchard to act as advisor in my absence
Social - David Hickey
- New date for "Love Boat" BBQ August 28 being hosted by L. Spiegleman and M. Shields
- Cleaned out storage at Hillside
- September 4 BBQ with club tri-tip probably not possible
- Extended the BBQ season through September 25 (suggestion to arrive at 5 if interested in playing tennis prior to BBQ)
- Propane replacement cost under scrutiny. Questioning possible new $20 per event charge
- Will send email blasts for all special events
- Buckeye supply cabinets will be taken care of by C. Pillsbury
- Discussed New Member Party. Suggest Board vote next year if it should invite all members
- 2022 facility scheduling in November
- August 17 GRF will provide educational activities consult

- Court Usage Stats reviewed showing increased numbers through July
- First Serve Pro court repair has not yet responded with availability
- Lock on propane storage not yet repaired
Publicity - Amy Bollinger
- Discussed Proposal to add new Board Position to the Rossmoor Tennis Club as "Communications Chair"

MOTION to appoint a Communication Chair Committee member reporting to Publicity and Technology Board members with the following responsibilities Seconded and Approved:
- Execute all email communication to club membership
- Update and monitor website content and event calendar
- Monitor and update information at kiosk
- Document job description as it develops
Information Technology - Chris Slee
- We are experiencing some spam emails/ extortion threats ... will pursue with Cloudaccess after previous suggestion did not work

New Business
- Prime time court scheduling for team practices, clinics and events discussed. Suggest ladies team try practicing Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11-12:30 (same as men). Court availability should not be a problem
- Board considers endorsement of pickleball location at Stanley Dollar inappropriate at this time
- Dave Blanchard will form nominating committee up to 4 members to fill 2022 Board vacancies. T. Quinlan will inform him of open positions
- Complaint received regarding on court behavior. L. Barclay will remind members to call securitas if problems occur and not approach
- Board members requested to review and update their job descriptions as listed on website. Report changes to L. Barclay and A. Peters
