Come to the Wednesday Clinic featuring Eugenio Ovalle.

Eugenio has been teaching this beginner/intermediate clinic for many years helping those who are

beginners who need some start up coaching
a little rusty get back into the groove
lower level intermediates find new ways to improve both their stroke fundamentals and tactics

Eugenio typically rotates over several weeks focusing on forehands, backhands, volleys, serves, returns and overheads.

All are welcome, including non-members who are considering joining the club.

Have some fun at the Wild Card Tournament!

This tournament is unique in that participants are only required to be Rossmoor residents; they are not required to be members of RTC.

Format

This fun format has up to 12 men and 12 women who play 4 rounds of mixed doubles and 3 rounds of same gender doubles. Each round is 4 games with players, so everyone gets to serve. Partners and opponents rotate in every round so there is a constantly changing mix of players.

Courts 3 and 4 are reserved and are to be used for Drop-In Tennis.

A Drop-in group is defined as 2 or more players. Sequence of play is rotational. Groups often consist of five or even six players. In these cases, at the end of each game, a new (waiting) player rotates into the server's ad court, the previous server goes out, and the remaining two players rotate clockwise for the upcoming game. To facilitate rotation, games are always played no-ad when people are waiting.
